- TTonyVIPNew York City •58 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoHawksmoor can be a little frenetic and noisy at dinner — nothing wrong with that! And the bar area is always quieter. But for the main dining room, I prefer going for lunch. They have a $25 lunch special that includes their famous rump steak and a side, but I went for the $45 option. I got the beet salad in a yogurt dressing, which was delicious, and the rump steak with fries (chips) and side salad. The steak was nicely charred on the outside and pink in the middle — a tad salty, but still quite tasty. And of course I got the Hawksmoor Martini, with Ford's Gin, which was served ice cold with olives on the side. A hell of an accompaniment! The room is beautiful and the service was friendly and efficient. I'd recommend the company too, but I'm not sure my dining companion would want to go here with everyone who reads this.More infoHawksmoor NYCPrice: Very Expensive• American• Gramercy Park•4.5

The waiter was very accommodating to our request, and even took the time to take a photo of us at the table. I gave him a great tip. I also give him an A++. I am a regular customer, and eaten at the restaurant several times. I love their chocolate martini! Totally recommend! That drink gets an A+++++! Leaves me smiling and happy!More infoMax Brenner - Union SquarePrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Union Square•4.1

- SSharonVIPNew York City •33 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoBeautiful restaurant with outstanding service. The food is spotty. The fried chicken was dried and overcooked - had to send it back. The sweet potato bread was bland and in desperate need of the delicious accompanying herb butter. The burger was very good but hardly "the best in the city" as our server informed us. The mushroom pizza with it's bountiful array of earthy, "freshly foraged" mushrooms atop a crispy wheat crust was excellent. The fact that you pay a king's ransom for the pleasure of dining at this Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant made it somewhat disappointing. I'm happy I went but wouldn't go back.More infoABC KitchenPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Gramercy Park•4.4
- RRaquelVIPSan Diego •7 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Dec 2024The food was very good. Delicious PEI Pink moon oysters and other great selections. Hamachi crudo was great and I love the idea of local fresh ingredients. I’m glad we came- the halibut was a little too hard on the outside for me but the inside was nicely cooked. Brussels and potato purée were simply delicious. The brûlée cheesecake and cappuccino to finish helped power the 20 block walk home! It’s up there with the best of the restaurants I’ve been to. Prices were a little high but that’s what you expect in NYC.More infoCraftPrice: Very Expensive• American• Gramercy Park•4.7
