- CCarlavipNew York City •7 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoGiven it was Thanksgiving day, I do not think the noise was necessarily indicative of a normal dining experience there but will find out the next time we go. The entrees and appetizers were delicious! The desserts were not. Service was wonderful, especially given how busy they were! We are definitely returning.More infoMetuchen InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Metuchen•4.7
- RRobvipNew York City •17 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHad another great experience. Food, drinks and service were all excellent. I had the veal porterhouse, which was perfectly cooked, that I definitely would order again. My wife totally enjoyed her burger. My son and daughter’s ribeye and filet were properly cooked to their desired temperatures. Our appetizers and side were delicious as was dessert. Our server and all of the staff that we interacted with were very courteous and friendly.More infoSteakhouse 85Price: Expensive• Steakhouse• New Brunswick•4.8
- DdavidvipNew York City •61 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoGood friends recently moved to Somerset NJ, requiring us to come up with a place to dine ---what a find! Frog and Peach is perfect: great food, service and relaxed ambience. Tucked away in the middle of "Georgetown" type new condos, this oasis has an interesting, unusual menu -- including a seasonal price fix $78 that looks great -- right now, it was a "Southern" menu with hush puppies, BBQ etc that is not to our liking. Special appie Veggie Raviolo was terrific, as was the freshly baked bread on- site. Caccio e Pepe was ok, but could have been more "saucy" and peppery for me, and a bit less al dente. Duck was delicious. We realized that New Brunswick is only a short ride from Somerset and plan to return for their well-known brunch!More infoThe Frog and the PeachPrice: Expensive• American• New Brunswick•4.5

- DDonnamarievipNew York City •14 reviews4.0Dined on 2 June 2022Red Lobster South Plainfield, NJ is a good choice! We ordered two very good meals, the Seafarer's Feast and the Mariner's Feast (both in the $30.00 price range.) One platter was Fried Shrimp, grilled Maine Lobster tail, Garlic Shrimp, and a skewer of 4 fantastic scallops. The other was Fried Shrimp, the skewer of scallops, and Salmon topped with Langostino sauce. Each came with a choice of two sides and the Cheddar Bay biscuits. Our choices were garden salad and mashed potatoes. Everything was very good! Our waiter was new but very concerned about doing a good job; he checked with us several times, and I also heard him asking another customer if his cocktail had come out the way he requested. That customer was also very satisfied and joked with the server. Another server who recognized us (I was surprised by that), came over just to ask how our grandchildren were doing because she remembered their photos from a previous visit. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The only real drawback to most of the Red Lobster chain is the somewhat dated decor. I can live with that.More infoRed Lobster - South PlainfieldPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Woodbridge•3.9
