We came for the prime rib. Called ahead and were told it would be ready at 3:00 when dinner service began. It wasn’t. Once I ordered, I was told the prime rib was not ready. Fortunately, it was happy hour and once we had an appetizer (and waited an extra 25 minutes), I was able to get my prime rib. Food was good. Our server Kristin was fabulous, she made the whole experience enjoyable even with the issues with the kitchen. She is worth going back to the restaurant. In one simple word, our impression was that the food was outstanding! Starting from the first course, the Pickled Seasonal Veg, Apple & Parsnip soup, the Fall Salad and the main entre, we devoured the food. Four out of five of us had the 6 oz, Bardo Burger, which was delicious. Incidentally, we noticed only one dish based on fish, with hardly any sea food in the menu! The service was good!
