Having not been here before, (we are new to KC) our server, Noah, was fantastic, explaining the menu and sharing his favorites with us. He was engaging and knowledgeable. Ordered the Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer and they were fantastic. Followed that up with a shared Champagne Fish and Chips, and a small wedge salad. The fish was cooked to perfection. The chef uses a rice flour and, you guessed it, champagne to make the batter extra light and crispy. Topped it off with their house made Beignets which, I have to admit, rival anything you'll get in NOLA, including the infamous Cafe Du Monde - they are no joke, 100% legit! Happy we found this place. Our food was amazing my husband had the 24oz steak and I had the scallops. It was all cooked just as requested and the sides Matt suggested paired very well. We were ready to order, with our menus shut, when she dropped our drinks off & then she turned around and walked off. We waited another 10 minutes for her to come back and I had to ask if we could order.
