- JJennySan Francisco Bay Area •28 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe Rotunda is delightful. It's old-charm in a modern setting, nostalgic for its past but decidedly modern and hip. The light that comes through the windows is cheerful and the waitstaff nothing but classy. The booth-like seating is comfy and decor is pleasant. I had the rockfish sandwich for lunch and devoured every saucy bite of it. Reserve a table in advance -- dropping in will be a long wait. It's a great place to do lunch on union square!More infoThe Rotunda at Neiman Marcus - San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown / Union Square•4.8
- PPaulSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI had a wonderful lunch today at Original Joe's. My server Sedat was outstanding and had great suggestions for menu items. I strongly recommend the Pineapple Punch (n/a), Joe's House Made Ravioli, and the Butter Cake. This was the best meal of the trip!More infoOriginal Joe's - San FranciscoPrice: Moderate• Italian• North Beach•4.7
- BBrianCalifornia Central Coast •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a great time here! Great food, awesome vibe, everything was really good! There were 4 of us and we had the Burger, Steak Dianne, Beef Cheek Stroganoff and the Rigatoni (which IS freshly, house -made rigatoni, despite what the "Karen" from TX wrote/reviewed) and then we split an amazing Creme Brulee! Definitely recommend!!More infoWayfare TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6
- TTaffyNew Mexico •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe returned for a second visit this holiday season; it was wonderful. Got adventurous and had the creamed corn. I noticed my daughters snuck more than an initial half teaspoon taste. It was very, very good. Not watery creamy. This had a nice texture. Try it! The prime rib was exceptional. I had the smaller portion. One daughter had the thinner slices. One daughter had the regular cut. All were sumptuous! Had a baked potato instead of the mashed. It was yummy. We ordered an apple crisp to share between the three of us. It was delicious with a nice amount of apple slices hidden under the topping and surrounded by the usual warm spices. Our server was great! She was friendly, attentive but didn’t hover. Thank you all for a wonderful evening! I may not be back for a while. Palo Alto daughter is moving to Duarte. CA this summer. If she needs help moving, we’ll have to do a farewell visit at House of Prime Rib. Again, thank you!More infoHouse of Prime RibPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.8
- NNicholasSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on 18 Dec 2024Everything was great, the food was amazing. The restaurant was a bit loud, but that was ok due to the the quality of the food. My only issue and maybe I am being cheap or just used to a second cup of coffee complimentary but they changed everyone at the table for a second cup of coffee. But nothing was said, it was just assumed that we should know that. Again maybe just used to it, the wait staff should alert the customer if that is the case. Other than that it was a wonderful meal for my birthday.More infoPark Tavern on Washington SquarePrice: Expensive• Californian• North Beach•3.7
