- JJennyvipSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had colleagues in from Texas who wanted to experience a great dining experience so I invited them to the Wayfare Tavern. The evening was exceptional as was the service and the meal. We loved the deviled eggs and fried chicken and whipped mashed potatoes with burrata cheese - outstanding!More infoWayfare TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6
- FfrankievipSan Francisco Bay Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAs always, spectacular. I loved the Christmas decor, made it so cozy and welcoming. Our waitress, Jackie, was very accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Great drinks. Have to get the potato pillows and deviled eggs. Can’t wait to go back.More infoBIXPrice: Expensive• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.7
- LLorrainevipSan Diego •74 reviews5.0Dined on 4 Dec 2024We've been to several wonderful restaurants all over the world and Trestle is right up there with the "best of the best". The food was exquisite; the staff exceptional; and we had a wonderful time. My husband and I both had the four course tasting menu and we picked different times and tasted all of the courses. Each course was memorable. Trestle will definitely be on our "must do" list when we are next back in San Francisco.More infoTrestlePrice: Expensive• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.8
- KkevinSan Francisco Bay Area •17 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Nov 2024everything was as it should be, and as expected. the physical space is amazing - it must have cost several fortunes to create it. the spiral staircase with bronze totem is a thing to marvel at. one odd thing: one of our waiters asked us several times, 'is everything treating you ok?' or, 'how is everything treating you?' funny that we should remember that, but it is an odd question to get from a waiter. it's neither good nor back, just odd. we would not hesitate to return.More infoThe Third FloorPrice: Expensive• Californian• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.3
- EErinSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on 20 Nov 2024Prelude is such a gem that we are lucky to have in the Bay Area. In an era where tasting menus can often leave you underwhelmed and needing a slice of pizza at the end, Prelude did the exact opposite. While I did opt for the caviar supplement and added on the sweetbreads dish from the ala carte menu, even without the extras I still would have left full to the brim. Some can’t miss dishes are the stuffed chicken wing, the catfish dumplings, the aforementioned sweetbreads, and the pork chop. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, and I found the by the glass wine options superb- I was particularly fond of a pour of a very special 1996 Chenin Blanc with dessert. I look forward to returning to Prelude again and again.More infoPreludePrice: Expensive• Californian• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6
