Best American Restaurants in Matteson

My experience at Maple Tree was wonderful! The valet who parked my car was friendly and accommodating and so was the hostess at check in. I had my meal at the bar and Emily was the bartender/server. She was extremely warm and friendly and offered excellent drink recommendations! Service was efficient but not rushed and the music and atmosphere made my experience even more enjoyable. I’m a vegan and I love that they offer a full vegan menu, from starters to dessert! I ordered the cornbread muffins, blackened mushrooms and grits and for dessert, cranberry apple crisp. Every morsel was delicious! Great energy and scrumptious food, I’d highly recommend!

Tasting room experience was great as always. Jeremiah was excellent as a server. My only negative is how customers waiting in line for gift cards were soooooo negative and complaining. People it’s the day before Christmas Eve!….your poor planning is not the fault of the employees!!! The employees of CH handle it with grace. They’re customer-oriented and patient!!!!

I didn’t know what to expect when dining in to this establishment. Found out about it from TikTok, and asked my hubby to take me here for my birthday. Let me just say they did not disappoint! Food was absolutely delicious. We both ordered the jerk lamb chops sauce on side sauce is really spicy but tasty (you get four in the dinner order) for sides cabbage and yams, my hubby also got the red beans and rice. Food came out in perfect timing hot and fresh, server was very knowledgeable ( I can’t remember her name). This was just an overall pleasant experience! We will be back. And to add icing on the cake they also had drunken bingo from 6-8 and it was happy hour from 4-7. It did get really packed with limited seating so I would strongly suggest having a reservations. This place was definitely a 10/10 and I strongly recommended!!!!
