Valentine dinner, food was great, wine pairings were extremely well matched. Our server was personable and fun to interact with. Entree was a small steak and a crab cake, no one can beat John Shields when it comes to crabs. Even the sides of roast fingerling potatoes and green beans were outstanding. Restaurant Review: Rusty Scupper – Baltimore, MD (Inner Harbor) My wife and I recently visited Rusty Scupper for the first time on Valentine’s Day, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Service & Atmosphere I had made a 7:30 PM reservation, and we arrived at 7:28 PM. After checking in at the front desk, we walked upstairs, and within 20 seconds, our name was called. The seating process was smooth and well-organized, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. Food & Drinks Due to the holiday, the restaurant had a set menu. I ordered the lobster tail, while my wife opted for the lobster tail with an added crab cake. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, and the flavors were outstanding. The drinks complemented our meal perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience. Final Thoughts Rusty Scupper delivered excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-tier seafood. It has definitely earned a spot on my list of restaurants to return to. If you’re looking for a great waterfront dining experience in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, this place is a must-visit. Went for Valentine's Day. The food was amazing and we had what felt like the best seats in the house. Our table had a view of the entire restaurant, we had flowers and heart decorations. It was a fabulous night.

Everything about my experience at Rye Street Tavern was perfect! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and warm. Even though the place was busy, we felt like everyone was attentive to us, which really made the evening special. For Valentine’s Day, the filet mignon was absolutely exquisite—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The whole fried chicken hen was a delightful surprise—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The crab and artichoke dip was a perfect starter, rich and creamy with just the right balance of flavors. To top it all off, the cappuccino was smooth and comforting, and the wine selection complemented the meal beautifully. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and efficient, making the evening even more enjoyable. A+ all around! Rye Street Tavern has earned a special place in my heart, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended for any occasion!

Came to celebrate a birthday . The table we were sated at was nice . The parties sprung us however made the experience very unpleasant. Additionally having the runner continually ask if I was done or take my plate was not only an annoyance but felt invasive as if I was being rushed out of the establishment. I would give a 4/5 as our server was excellent ( crystal ) but I do believe further training is needed for the runners as no where in the reservation did it indicate a time allotment for me dining ( e.g. 3 hour window or 2 hour max ). It made the evening very uncomfortable and unpleasant to say the least .
