Best American Restaurants in Cardiff By The Sea

The service was outstanding! We could not get enough of the queso fundido. They kept bringing us chips, so we were quite full by the time our main entree arrived. Either way, the food was very good, as always and we enjoyed the music. The only downside, if there was any, was that it was too cold inside so a lot of us around the restaurant kept our jackets on.

The ambiance and vibe at Waverly are what you would want for a coastal restaurant. Indoor/outdoor seating with just enough room to move around. The food is always exceptional. The drinks are thoughtfully prepared, and just about every one that I’ve had there has been consistently good. The service was spot on and the waitress was helpful and patient.

We had a lovely experience! On a chilly, gray winter evening, our patio dining experience was warm, cozy, and relaxing. Our meal was excellent. John, our server, couldn’t have been more gracious!

Warmly greeted by the reception staff. Reservations had been confirmed the day before. Sat immediately in a Phenomenal viewing location. Our server named Becca, treated us well and set a perfect pace for appetizers, salads, and then the meal. She was constantly checking in on us willing to assist. Please try the Famed Hula Pie for dessert, it's Extraordinary !!!

Easy to make reservation ahead of time and get a window seat. The four of us were very pleased with our meals. For being extraordinary busy, we were seated in less than five minutes. The staff were extremely friendly, upbeat and efficient in their roles. My Ahi was perfectly seared. The accompanying fresh vegetables were perfectly seasoned. The Lava Cake always pleases me. Certainly would recommend the Cardiff Chart House .
