- BBrianSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoFirst time eating at this establishment. Was extremely pleased with the mixologist behind the bar; our server was extremely knowledgeable and made great wine pairing suggestions for our meals. We were seated in the "speakeasy" section, which is a little darker than the main dining area, adding to a more intimate dining experience. The scallops my wife ordered were described by her as "top three" scallops she has ever had. I had the salmon which was tender and perfectly cooked, served with a saffron sauce that complemented the meal perfectly. Oh- and if you are a bread pudding fan, don't miss it- We shared one and wished we had ordered one each it was do delicious.More infoBaxters Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Benicia•4.8

Always a special treat to celebrate occassions here. Disappointed though they don’t do the complimentary birthday desserts anymore. We ordered desserts but HOPR used to also do a fun little free birthday dessert for the birthday guests.More infoHouse of Prime RibPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness•4.9
- JJillSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe ate dinner at The Hideout Kitchen on New Years Day for the first time and it was a lovely experience. We had the honey fried chicken which came with mashed potatoes and sauteed kale. Very yummy! There are very few restaurants in the East Bay with great fried chicken, and this is one of them. Not greasy, just crispy and so flavorful. Large portions. We skipped dessert but the choices looked delicious. Our server was fantastic but unfortunately I don’t have her name. Really impressed with her. The ambiance is relaxing and elegant with bookshelves holding old books and a vintage vibe. We will be back!More infoThe Hideout KitchenPrice: Moderate• American• Lafayette•4.6
