Always a local favorite seafood restaurant. Has preferred seating available on Open Table that works every time for fast reception and seating. Always enjoy their special bread and a nice cab for starters including the stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy the salmon New Orleans entry. Attentive service every time. Will return.
Sitting in the bar room was much better as far as noise level. The spicy shrimp and grits was terrific. The apricot salmon was cooked well but the potato mash was very salty. Too salty to my liking and almost inedible. The bacon jam could use some texture. The bread that came along with the bacon jam was great.
The food was EXECELLENT, but the service was lacking. The person seating us was confused and probably new and untrained. The waitress was away for long periods of time that extended our stay. The food quality would bring us back.
