Small plates were, as always, very good. We also ordered a whole steamed trout, which was fine, but not particularly memorable (a far better move would have been to have skipped the trout and gotten three more small plates instead). Also, as an off-menu option offered by our server when we ordered the Misoyaki grilled scallops, we took a caviar accompaniment, which I don't think I would do again (the scallops ($22) were great, while the thumbnail-sized portion of caviar ($15) didn't really elevate the dish that much.
Restaurant was also a little bit cold this time, possibly because we were sitting closer to the door than in past visits.
