    It’s a lovely place. But, unfortunately the experience was less than desirable. It was New Year’s Eve however planning accordingly for a larger crowd should be part of preparation. Reservations were at 8:15 and we sat down shortly after. Appetizers came out fairly quickly and were good and warm! Everything after that was just not good. Food took forever…it was cold…little flavor. Just not good. Main dish with ribs and BLT (which came out 30 minutes after every one else’s) got a good review. But all other dishes were less than desirable. Hate to have a negative review but being honest. Maybe food is much better with a lesser crowd!

    We truly enjoyed our New Year’s dinner. We had a reservation and we were seated right on time. Our server, Lisa was absolutely wonderful. She was so attentive and kept our drinks filled. The food was wonderful. I highly recommend!

    The food was delicious but the portions were so small. For the amount of money that they are charging you should get bigger portions. Overall it was a nice experience and the staff was great. Just wish we got more food for the money we spent.

    We got there 1 and 1/4 hours before an event and ordered quickly. After an hour, we still didn’t have our food and people around us who had come after us did (and some were done). Repeated queries of our waiter did not reveal why the delay nor when we would get our food. Finally, another waiter told us the kitchen “lost” our order. In the end, we had to wolf down our food and we ended up a 1/2 hour late to our event. There was no apology and barely an acknowledgment of the incompetence that we had just experienced.

    There are so many better restaurants to have cajun cuisine in new orleans.That I would not waste my time at this restaurant. The beer is great, but go eat elsewhere. I can't believe how good of rating this place has.

    Food was subpar. Left much to be desired. Ambiance was nice. Could not taste the alcohol in the drinks. We probably won't return. We've had them in the past and the quality of the food was much better.
