   Wonderful server named Genesis. Super dynamic ambience. The food was authentic and tasty - steak palomilla, shrimp, tops Vieja, and the must-have 1905 salad prepared tableside. This place has been around for 120 years and deservedly so.

   It was very busy so service was slow but our waiter was great. Food was outstanding but the noise level in the bar room was way too loud!! Beautiful restaurant!! Love the history!!

   Glad we decided to go to Columbia! After looking at reviews we were skeptical but overall a very nice surprise. Yes, it’s somewhat of a tourist destination but the food was delicious and portions were large. My son had the gazpacho and said it was very good and fresh. It came with an assortment of chopped veggies added table side by server. My husband and I ordered the Lechon asada with black beans and rice. Very delicious and we both had leftovers to take home. The old fashioned finely dressed waiters and service was very refreshing to enjoy once again. We would recommend a visit to all our friends.

   This is our favorite Tampa restaurant to take out of town guests to. The food and service are amazing. The menu is varied and unique. You never feel rushed. It’s definitely a must in Tampa.

   I have had the Ropa Veja, cuban sandwich, grande soup, Pollo Manchego, black beans and rice, green beans, empanadas and the Arroz con Pollo. They are all so good. But two of my favoritea are the 1905 salad and the chocolate bread pudding.

   We've been to the Columbia many times over the years at several locations. We love the salad! Today we went to celebrate my mom's birthday. We had a couple of small snags: 1. My chicken with yellow rice was pretty dry and a pretty skimpy piece of dark meat. This hasn't always been the case. 2. The service was a little uneven, sometimes very attentive, like we'd expect, and other times there were long, unexplained gaps. Overall, I'd come for just the salad, but with pretty high prices, I want everything to be as I remember.
