Family-owned and operated for more than 116 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Roast Pork "a la Cubana," and fresh seafood specialties.

Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains.

We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

Everything from the service to the food was out of this world. Brandon was our server and gave us perfect recommendations. He mad sure we never went without a drink and always mare sure to have a conversation every times he walked by. Our table had the stuffed shrimp, grouper, fillet and I had the pasta filled with lobster, crab and scallops in a sherry sauce with lobster on top. We all got the salad the start us ofr and it was amazing as well. Finished with some Cuban coffee to end the dinner. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Great place to eat in downtown St Augustine. Parking lot availability is good but fills up fast. Reservations are definitely needed during peak seasons.

I have loved the Columbia for years but it just isn’t what it was. I will give a small pass on some things (one women’s room was closed but it’s an ancient building with ancient plumbing) but the food was inedible. Dishes we have enjoyed for years were just drowned in garlic and overcooked. Disappointing.

Granted we dined on Thanksgiving Day but we eat there every year on Thanksgiving and it has never been this bad. We were seated almost 40 minutes late and then we sat for 45 minutes waiting for our food. Meanwhile there were empty tables all over the place. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and the hostess acknowledged this and said they had something special for us. We of course appreciated this and thought that would make up for the delays. The waiter greeted us with happy anniversary as well, so clearly communication was good. Halfway thru our meal, the waiter introduced us to our new waiter and said they were switching. Our new waiter must not have been told because nothing special was done for us as promised and even worse we didn’t see much of him at all during our meal. So overall the service was a bit of a downer which is sad because we love this restaurant and the food is always great. I will chalk this up to them having a bad night.

The food was very dry, the service was ok, but I don’t believe it was completely the waitresses fault. Very disappointed as this was our first time there and came highly recommended.

Impressive Thanksgiving meal and excellent service made for a wonderful meal. Noise was energetic as it was Thanksgiving and it was very, very busy. We’d come back even with all of the activity as the staff was well prepared.

We had a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner at the Columbia. Our waitress was excellent, even though she was very busy she made sure to check on us frequently and attend to all of our needs. I don’t remember her name but it was her birthday on Thanksgiving. The restaurant was decorated beautifully as always at this time of the year. We had a great table in the enclosed patio. It was pretty noisy but that is expected with all the large groups and just adds to the holiday atmosphere! We come here often as we live here and are never disappointed!
