   Arrived a little earlier than the time I had reserved an outside covered patio table & was offered immediate seating in the dining room. I agreed, but wish I had waited for the seating I prefer. The service was good, but the noise level makes conversation difficult. That said, I love the 1905 salad & red sangria. Absolutely amazing!

   Always enjoy Columbia! The 1905 Salad is a treat. This restaurant is a gem of St Armand’s Circle.

   Sadly, it appears that Columbia has turned into yet another tourist trap on St Armand. The food was bland, over-cooked and dry. My wife and I both had the “famous Cuban Sandwich”. The bread was dry, the sandwich tasteless. Our friends had the fish Cuban and it was overcooked as well. The drinks were watered down and the noise level was impossible to carry on a conversation. The only bright point was our waiter! I’ve lived here in SRQ for over 30 years and remember when Columbia was a true destination. No longer, IMO. We will not be back and will steer our friends to more authentic Cuban restaurants on the mainland.

   The Columbia always serves quality, delicious food. The table side service is done well. It is always busy but you don't feel rushed

   The food was fantastic as usual! It was extremely busy and so understandable that the server appeared to be a little overwhelmed. One suggestion would be to make sure it’s clearly visible where to go if you have reservations vs. waiting for a table. That was a bit chaotic for the guests.

   Fond memories of decades vacationing or working in Sarasota flood back whenever I step inside the Columbia. The food is first-rate and the service is spot on.
