The noise level was only high for part of the meal due to an event on the second floor.

The restaurant is in the heart of Peddler’s Village and has been there forever. Designed to look like a colonial era restaurant. Service is friendly and capable. Food is traditional American cuisine- pot pies, turkey, steaks, etc. The food is good but nothing particularly special, fairly priced for portion size and location.

Used Travelocity to choose restaurant in Peddlers Village. Food was very good. Had the Beef Burgandy. Short ribs were tender and flavorful. I had the butterscotch pudding for dessert but I was not as impressed. Not a real butterscotch flavor to it and it had a bit of a pudding ‘skin’ on it which wasn’t pleasant. But overall a good meal. Waiter seemed rushed even though when I arrived, 4:00, it wasn’t particularly busy. Because he was rushed I felt rushed. Had to ask for more to drink and for the dessert menu, he was just going to bring me my check

Our waiter (Myles) was fantastic. Drink specials were excellent. Pastrami and Nashville Chicken sandwiches were delicious. The Candied Bacon App w/ Chocolate Sauce was tasty. I recommend Cock’n Bull and we would go back!

Lovely historic atmosphere. Food was eclectic - we tried one of the Valentine's specials, which was good but the chicken seemed a tad bit too salty. The other dishes were from the main menu and were well-received. The French onion soup was particularly delicious! Our only complaints were the slow speed of service (server got slammed with too many tables) and the credit card fee. Although many restaurants kept their credit card fees after COVID was no longer at its worst, many have also gotten rid of those fees.

Service was horribly slow. The orange olive oil blood cake was dry. Server was taking 20 to 30 minutes at a time to get back to our table!
