   I booked a table a week in advance for a family occasion, specifically requesting a table in the middle of the restaurant. Upon arrival, we were offered a table near the entrance, which was unacceptable and disrespectful. The purpose of making a reservation was to ensure a pleasant dining experience with a suitable table. Instead, I was met with indifference, even though 80% of the tables in the restaurant remained unoccupied throughout our visit. Cluny needs to prioritize its guests and demonstrate genuine care, rather than projecting an air of authority and arrogance. The unprofessionalism of the staff completely ruined what should have been a perfect evening.

   Very Disappointing experience. I have eaten at this restaurant on multiple occasions and overall found the food and service to be very good. Today there were six of us and we ordered meals, but one of them was undercooked and then returned overcooked with no apology at all, and we waited 20 minutes for the last meal to come out, and by then the rest of us had eaten. Cluny's should be more appreciative of its ongoing clientele and sincerely concerned when a legitimate complaint is made and little amelioration made. I'm not so sure I would return or recommend this restaurant at this time.

   I’ve given Cluny a shot a number of times as I live close by and generally hear good things. Plus, I really enjoy French food. However as sometimes who is a frequent restaurant goer, I can confidently say I will not be returning for some time. The primary reason for this is because of the service. Each time I go, we wait for extended periods of time for our server throughout the dinner service. I want to note that I am not a needy diner but I expect to be acknowledged within the first few minutes of sitting down and other standard procedures. The food is good, but there are plenty of better French restaurants in the city for comparable prices.

   We dined here for brunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday, after two attempts to celebrate with family over the holidays were postponed due to illness of a number of family members. My husband chose brunch at the Distillery District and I suggested Cluny’s based on some great lunch and dinner experiences I had when I worked downtown. We travel this time from Richmond Hill and the drive was definitely worth it. Can’t say enough about the small plates and brunch options. Thank you!

   A beautiful location and decadent brunch. Brought a friend who was visiting from out of town. Front bar area is a great space in the restaurant for a bit of a quieter atmosphere, and some nice natural light. Food was tasty, and service was both friendly and attentive. While it is always fun to indulge and feel like you’re having desert for breakfast, a few tasty and somewhat lighter/healthier options on the menu for brunch would be great to see in the future.

   Cluny never fails to impress, with their charming European ambiance, well spaced seating, lovely menu, excellent and welcoming staff and delicious food (especially the frites… don’t leave without trying the frites!!). Thank you, Cluny, for another memorable lunch!

    We absolutely love Cluny. The dishes are interesting and so delicious, the ambience is great and our server was very efficient and nice
