Clos Maggiore is an oasis of calm in the heart of Covent Garden. Influenced by the stylish country inns of Provence and Tuscany its unique interiors create a warmth and intimacy enjoyed by both business and private parties. The conservatory has a fully retractable glass roof creating a bright and airy dining space. Our extensive cellar at Clos Maggiore includes over 2,000 labels and was extended earlier this year to include an additional 400 wines at a low – mid price range. We are very proud to have been awarded the “Best of Award of Excellence” consistently since 2003 by Wine Spectator.

Available Monday to Sunday 5pm to 5:45pm. - 2 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £32.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 3 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £39.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 48 hours cancellation policy from the date of booking, cancellation this period will incur a charge of £40.00 per person to the card provided. - We welcome children above the age of 14 years.

    Very romantic dining experience with superior standards. We enjoyed it, after the flight and arriving at our hotel it was perfect to end the day and calm down. If you have the money to afford it 😅

    It was so terribly disappointing. Very average food and poor service. Certainly not what you would expect from an upscale restaurant with that sort of pricing. The crab tartelette was actually a slice of a large tart made of undercooked pastry and filled with undefined puree and a bit of crab. The beef was way too salty and served with cottage pie as a side (!!). The truffle mash was not warm. The chocolate soufflé was anything but a soufflé, more of a cream. And the bread would not pass the cut at Tesco. No appetizer, no sweet treat. We had to wait 15mn for a pre booked table. The cocktails were served after the starters. The restaurant is underinvested with tired furniture and terrible cold draught from all windows. Apparently this place used to be good some years ago. Clearly the new model is to target complaisant one off tourists.

    Our welcome and service throughout the evening was excellent. The dining area was attractive and the set pre-theatre menus very good. We will definitely try to return.

    Our first time in this amazing looking restaurant. From the moment we walked in we were well looked after. Our server couldn’t have done anymore to make us feel welcome and special. The food hit all my expectations and was delicious. My starter was the macaroni with king mushrooms and truffle, it was so good I wanted more. The main course of monkfish was probably the best I have had, it was delightful. We will definitely return and sample more of their delicious food. Thank you for an exceptional dinning experience

    The perfect pre theatre experience. Start to finish a first class experience. Warm welcome, beautiful decor, delicious food, bubbles and wine, charming service. Will definitely return for a full evening experience next time we’re in London

    We have been coming here for 11 years and as ever a great experience/ Food was great and good value lunch - service on a Monday lunchtime was a little lacklustre but that can happen.

    Loved everything about it! Great atmosphere, great service and lovely food! Only complaint is the food portions were very very small I would expect more food with these prices. Definitely worth a visit though especially for a romantic dinner!
