   Christy Hill is our special occasion go to place. The food is expertly prepared, unique and absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly, attentive and informative. The owner is present and involved. Overall service and personal attention by the owner and entire staff could not be better. Of course the views of Lake Tahoe are breathtaking as well. A shout out to Carsten - always professional and attentive. Ask for him when you dine here - he'll take great care of you.

   Service was excellent - from the hostess, to the bartender (I sat at the bar), and the wait staff that brought my food and described the meals I ordered as they were brought out. My dishes were spaced out so I could enjoy each individually. I ordered the elk and beet tartar which I’d never had elk before but it was lovely and creamy. I also ordered the chicken liver pate which was smooth and had a deep, rich flavor which was nicely balanced with the fruit gelee, and the chanterelle and corn agnolotti was earthy but sweet! Everything from start to finish was delightful. I’d definitely return and hopefully come when it’s a little more light outside so I can take in the view.

   We’ve eaten here many times before and always give it Five stars. Food is delicious scenery great even as the sun goes down, but my pasta didn’t have much flavor. My husband‘s dish of duck breast was very good hors d’oeuvres good the focaccia bread was too doughy. Enjoyed alcoholic drinks

   Tasting menu is an incredible value. Believe it is only available Wednesday-Thursday. 5 courses for $55! One of the most intelligent wine lists around. Great and varied selections at reasonable prices. Service was spot on. Most enjoyable evening on the lake.

   Really delicious and creative food in a gorgeous environment. Every dish I had was excellent, as was the wine choice the waiter helped me select. Highly recommend! It's wonderfully to have a foodie restaurant in Tahoe. One request to the chef - please offer a vegetarian or vegan dish for each course of the tasting menu. And one note to guests - the restaurant volume really went up as the night went on. Maybe this was due to having the windows closed because it was fall outside, or maybe it was because more wine was flowing, but if you want a quieter experience I would recommend an earlier reservation. Fabulous place.

    Our vegetable dish was undercooked, our steak ( medium) was undercooked and tough. Very noisy. Service was inexperienced for the price level. Won’t return.
