    We celebrated my wife’s birthday and had a wonderful meal for two. Steak and crab cakes we split. T he salad was amazingly fresh. They gave my wife a birthday card souvenir.

    We had the best dinner at the Tavern! Our first time. Our kids loved their meals and we did too. Amazing atmosphere and the server gave so many fun facts about the tavern. Would definitely recommend!!

    My only complaint is that it was our anniversary and we were seated at a coffee table instead of a nice table for 4. Other people that only had 2 in their party got the bigger tables. We were cramped and people behind us were bumping us with their chairs. We've gone to this tavern for several years in a row to celebrate our anniversary. Next time I'm asking for a bigger table.

    The food was good as usual. This was the fastest dinner we’ve ever had there: we did get a visit from the musician, but not the normal presentation of the history of the tavern, etc. So, a little disappointing, but we’ve been so many times we’ve heard it all. Will continue to visit when we are in the area.

    Superb cuisine attentively served in an authentic colonial atmosphere. My salad was a delicious work of art, and the fried chicken I ordered was prepared to perfection. My wife also greatly enjoyed her trout. The place is pricey, but you get what you pay for.
