A couple enjoying each others company tucked into a banquette late in the evening…a group of girlfriends people-watching from the sidewalk tables over brunch…two neighbors stopping by to grab lunch at the bar.

As difficult as it may be to do, they need to hire more wait staff. While the service we got was fine, the servers couldn't keep up with the flow of customers, no matter how hard they tried. And they tried!

We had a delightful time at Chouquet's from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. Thank you for a lovely meal with incredible service and incredible ambiance! We will be back again...and again!!!!

An excellent choice à la française. Great food, excellent service, a very nice neighborhood vibe. Good wine options. Overall a great place and I look forward to going back next time I'm in San Francisco!

Went for Saturday lunch and the restaurant was alive with customers and great atmosphere. Food was superb as usual and good value.

Tonight we enjoyed some Voignier and the shared á Salade au truite and them steaming mussels in wine and butter and garlic with extra bread and crispy frites. After we each shared a lemon parfait and crème brûlée with an after dinner dessert wine- sitting outside under the stars.
