   Another week. Another amazing meal. Slowly becoming regulars here. Can’t say enough how good the carpaccio is. Omg. Do yourself a favor. Order TWO. Shout out to Anthony for always taking care of us. Shout out to Brooke and Angelina as well. The staff is pretty awesome. Definitely makes the night that much better. We will be back soon!

   I enjoyed the customer service of the staff. Everyone was nice. I enjoyed the dim lighting. However, it was super packed. The workers hardly had room to serve. Also, I wasn’t expecting the mashed potatoes to be instant. For it to be a high end restaurant; I was completely shocked. The food quality was very underwhelming.

   Food was very good. However the bar was so overcrowded that the noise level was very high and made it hard to have an intimate dining experience. The service was fair to poor. The server was overwhelmed with too many tables. The biggest turn off is that they let someone bring in a dog and have in the bar area. While we were trying to have a conversation a dog was howling and whining in the hostess station which we were seated very close to. I would not recommend if you want a comfortable fine dining experience with good service.

   Second time at Chophouse 47 Place was packed on a Wednesday night but the food and the service was not negatively affected at all. Oysters Rockefeller, Tableside Caesar and steak with sides were as good as the first time. To me this is the mark of a great restaurant and I applaud the entire team for their efforts, especially the kitchen staff and Anthony who took such good care of us. A definite 10!

    Chophouse 47 totally ruined our Thanksgiving dinner this year! We were greeted with we’ll let you know when a table is available…but I made a reservation over a month ago. They didn’t care. We had a reservation at 5 PM today for our Thanksgiving dinner. We were seated at 6 PM…one hour later than our reservation time. The 2 ladies at the reception desk told us because everyone is out having dinner and they are busy. I know because I made a reservation on October 19th in anticipation of a busy night! If it were not the Thanksgiving dinner that comes once year, we would have left if they didn’t seat us for one hour. I made a reservation on October 19th. Meanwhile, I confirmed with Chophouse 47 when they called and texted me to confirm. After waiting for one hour, we were finally seated. Then no wait staff showed up for another 10 minutes. No water, no drinks. After 10 minutes of waiting we left. Chophouse 47 staff saw us leaving, but nobody approached to ask why. 30 minutes after we left, they called me and didn’t leave a message. They are managed by unprofessional management! If you can’t manage reservations for Thanksgiving dinner, don’t accept reservations! Even if they pay us to come back, we won’t be going back there. There are better restaurants managed by professionals people.
