   Our server Robert made our valentines experience even better, given we had a night reservation and he had been on the clock since 11am. Super friendly and cheerful, the food was also delicious as usual. 10/10 experience.

   Chima typically has a great atmosphere for a nice dinner out. I have noticed fewer actual Brazilians working there over the years and while the food quality is good, the taste is less authentic. Valentines was a bit disappointing, being sat at a folding table (knees hitting the legs) to cram more people in and surprised with a cost twice the usual, apparently for glasses of champagne and dessert we found out about when asking for the bill. Disappointed this time, but I’d go back when it’s not a holiday.

   Food was great, very good! I just was always needing more water. I made a reservation well in advance for 7:30 and we were seated at 8:15. It was fun and we had a great time. But upon making the reservations I called to make sure we didn’t have to get the Valentine’s Day special, they said no it’s just an option you can do the regular price. I did not want the special because we don’t drink champagne and we only would be drinking water and getting one dessert if any. When we got our bill we got charged the special and didn’t get any of the “things” it came with. We got one dessert but if I would have just paid full price for it and regular price for our meals it still would have been significantly less. I got two regular priced adults and one dessert and I got charged way more…and I’m not happy about it.

   We went for a Valentine’s Day special that included a gift card but at the time of payment they had no knowledge. Yet we have the screenshot of the special from this site. The wait was extremely long, like what’s the point of a reservation. What we paid is just not worth a glass of Moet. Very disappointed.

   Pro: The meat selection was very good. The server explained very well what to expect considering it was my first time at a Brazilian steak house. Salad bar had a bunch of different varieties of salad and side items such as olives, cheese, bread, etc. Con: The only good thing to eat was the meat selection. The sides that they brought out were just ok. I personally did not find it very intriguing. The desert was mediocre. Very busy on valentine day. Even with a reservation the expected wait was 30 minutes, everyone was crowded together in the front entrance. Some that was checked in had to wait upstairs. The waiters seemed very burned out. Champagne glasses were dropped multiple times, and they just seemed very irritated. Rushing through the chairs. Overall it was not worth $95 a person on valentine’s day. This is not something I will be coming back to on special occasions.

   The buffet is always amazing but the rodizio took forever. We waited almost an hour before we saw any kind of steak. Service was really slow, we were there for over 2 hours just for 2 people. It’s not as classy as it used to be and it seems they do not care about a dress code anymore.

   Enjoyable dining experience. As usual for a Brazilian Steak service was attentive, food delicious and value in the meal. Look forward to our next visit.
