Our new San Diego home is located in the Carez Hizar House (circa 1889), a Coronado historical landmark on Loma Avenue almost at the corner of Orange Avenue. We are within walking distance to beautiful downtown Coronado, the Hotel Del Coronado, and the beach. A French inspired bistro where people feel comfortable and enjoy fresh rustic fare at reasonable prices. Sourcing locally to achieve maximum freshness and offering our customers what they want instead of following culinary trends.
If your desire is a casual tapa at the bar or a dinner with friends or colleges, Chez Loma under new management, offers an inviting space to relax, enjoy and socialize.

                                                    Food was excellent as usual. I had the duck and wife had the salmon. Both cooked perfectly as we wished and very delicious. Wait staff was courteous. We were seated in the upstairs area which was quiet but a touch chilly (Dec. 27); old Victorian buildings are not known for their insulation.

                                                    Adorable restaurant, extremely friendly and professional waiters. Christmas Eve was crazy busy- not the best time to visit. Food was ok, not memorable. Should have ordered French food - their specialty. First visit, will go back in summertime.
