We are a small, independent restaurant situated in Macclesfield, near town center. Opened in 2009, Chestergate Bistro offers a modern British cuisine. High quality and fresh ingredients prepared each day by our chefs are the basis for each of Chestergate Bistro's creations. Friendly staff and stunning presentation keeps our customers returning. We take great pride in the quality of food we provide and have a reputation for delivering quality menu's at reasonable prices.

    Food excellent. Small point serving hot ravioli starter on a stone cold plate which was disappointing. Service patchy - waited ages for our initial drinks order to be taken for example when restaurant wasn’t too busy. Overall a great little restaurant and lovely food but the service needs working on to make it a friendlier experience

    What a little gem ! Only £30 for two courses per person and the level of food was outstanding we will definitely be back great sound track too great vibe lovely

    In my opinion it was a little bit expensive for what we had & the £15 service charge was very excessive. The food however was very nice & the service was excellent.

    Perhaps the best place in Macclesfield for fine dining and certainly superior to your usual bistro. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Small supplements for certain dishes are definitely worth it. A very nice touch of the chef to offer amuse bouche to customers and prepare you for the food to follow. The waiting staff were polite and friendly.
