   Charley G’s is one of our favorite restaurants. We like the ambience: both the bar area and dining room are comfortable places to be, without being too informal. Cocktails are always well-made. The wine list is not exhaustive; but we always find something we like. Service is always good. The menu doesn’t change very often; but the food is always prepared well, and delicious. We enjoyed the escargot, tuna tartare, yellowfin tuna and sea bass. We finished off with a red velvet cheesecake. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

   Anniversary dinner for two: My wife's steak was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The accompanying crab cake was tasteless and devoid of flavor. My Sea Bass was a small piece, cooked well, and accompanied by corn mach choux and okra. Very nice. Good starter salads. For dessert, bread pudding was a winner; chocolate cake was meh. Service was attentive and unobtrusive.

   Food was amazing as always! Was craving that romaine salad, but the manchego grits were an amazing substitute!! And the red velvet cheesecake was a great way to finish. Our servers were very attentive and gave perfect service!

   The food is set apart/above most all of the restaurants in the area. Very special place. Not the routine seafood cuisine of the area.

   The gumbo and crab cakes were delicious. We absolutely loved our waiter Hady; absolutely amazing!!! Please make sure they see this comment!

   The one hundred dollar ribeye steak was room temp when it was served. The crab cakes were a mush of filling and crab flavoring. For that price where is the lump crab meat. The good old days of taking pride it a proper crab cake made with fresh lump crab meat and fresh capers, onions, and onion tops, mayo, and bread crumbs and then pan fried to perfection by those old ladies at Evangeline steak house. Man I miss those days!

   The food was absolutely amazing! Our waitress Marley, was wonderful. We had never been there before and she was so informative and helpful. The kitchen staff did a phenomenal job on the presentation of food, and it was so delicious! We will definitely be returning for future date nights!
