                                                    We went for restaurant week. Offerings were very good. Portion size was good. The calamari with asian glaze and wasabi sauce was good. Shrimp cocktail was good. Shrimp were tasty and liked the spicy sauce. We both had the surf & turf The steaks were good size portion but a little tough . the scampi was good though. I was a bit surprised we were charged extra $3 for either mushrooms or onions since the waitress asked us if we wanted it but did not mention it was extra Dessert choices were cheesecake and chocolate mousse. Both had mousse

                                                    Char never disappoints. This is our go to for so many celebrations, or just a night out. The service is top notch. Love how the owner, Frank goes around to every single table to say hello and thank you for our support! He makes us feel comfortable and appreciated. It's a big part of why we keep coming back. Every single server is amazing there!!

                                                    My only complaint was the noise. To be fair there was a large group celebrating a birthday next to us. The noise level diminished significantly after they left. Food was great and good value. Appetizers (particularly calamari) were delicious! Calamari was cooked perfect! Will definitely be back!

                                                    As usual we have no complaints. Char is one of our favorite restaurants, mostly because of Nikki. She’s absolutely amazing and truly one of the reasons we keep going back.
