This intimate, small restaurant has the spirit and the charm you would find on Italy and other countries off the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Chef Daniele Dotti, a native of Venice, has created an eclectic menu that brings to the table the flavors, the traditional recipes and the freshness of ingredients so typical of this region. Our Mediterranean Branzino is delicious but if you are in the mood for good pasta, try our Linguine Fruti di Mare with a variety of sea food and fresh tomato or our special house made fresh pasta Fettucine Casanova. Now you can enjoy all of this right in the middle of the Grand Canal Shoppes.

The atmosphere and the decor are informal and friendly and children are welcome, but at night it can be ideal for a good glass of wine and a romantic dinner.

This is the second time we have eaten at Casanova. The service was extremely quick (almost too quick) and the food (branzino) was excellent.

Online menu items from the Venetian website wasn't the same as in the restaurant. Notable items left off and NO kids menu. They "ran out" of iced tea?? Not worth the prices they charge here

Food was good although have had better. Loaded with garlic. Caesars salad had too much dressing. Marinara was tasty but hardly any on spaghetti. Next to casino. So noisy.

The hostess greeted us with a stare. I told her my name and reservation time. She said a one syllable word I could not hear and blankly led us to a table by a busy corner hallway in the mall. The table was very wobbly and very loud. After 2 minutes I saw an open 2 top and asked if we could be moved because our table was wobbly and loud. She said she would move us as soon as it was cleaned. Once moved, the waiter brought over a wine menu and we ordered two glasses. The wine was horrible. $15/glass and just plain bad. The Caesar salad was bland and over dressed. The entrees were large, but had clearly gone through some re-heating process and the plates were very hot but the food was cool on top and extremely hot in the middle/bottom. After taking our order, the waiter did not return until we were finished and then, only because I flagged him over. Just an overall disappointment. Also...it's in a mall. Surrounded by stores and a lot of loud foot traffic. Nothing charming about it. If you like food court level Italian food and bad overpriced wine, this is a good spot for you.

Average food. Caesar salad was sloppy but decent flavor. Branzino was very good and well prepared, lobster ravioli seemed very premade and seriously over sauced. Served was nice but very harried. Ambiance was crowded and very noisy. Won’t go back.
