Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

We are open for Indoor & Outdoor Dining, Pick-up, Delivery, Catering and Private Parties.

Your safety is our priority. As of 3/7/22, NYC no longer requires proof of vaccination to dine indoors. Indoor & Outdoor dining are available.

Enjoy Carmine's classics catered to the venue of your choice. Our off-premises catering services range from a small drop off and set up for 20 to a full scale, off-premises event for 2000. Our signature dishes, including Carmine’s famous Meatballs, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, and Shrimp Scampi, will be delivered right to your door. Carmine's Catering offers one-stop shopping. Our full-service Catering Division offers a professional staff, complete set-up and service, rentals, linens, décor, and venue selection. Catering packages or customized menus available.
Private party facilities
Carmine's second floor offers our New Private space The Sinatra Room and semi-private dining in the Jimmy Durante space; with a mahogany bar, coat check and handicap access. The room seats up to 230 guests. Our plush theatrical drapes are perfect for semi-private dining for smaller groups.

A Memorable Experience! Dining at Carmine’s was definitely a highlight of our trip to NYC. It was a memorable experience for me and my children. We ordered the steak, lobster, and broccoli—everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The sparkling water was a nice treat, and the service was excellent. We had reservations, so the wait wasn’t too long, and we really loved the atmosphere. It was energetic, lively, and full of that classic New York charm. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a family style meal in a fun, family friends, or even date night atmosphere.

I love Carmines. The service is always great and the atmosphere is great too. I had the Italian sausage which was very good. The roasted potatoes were so so. Overall, I give it a 4 rating.

Food wasn’t even average pasta with clams should have been renamed pasta with garlic only 4 claims in the whole dish veal burnt on underside but covered in sauce we would have complained to waiter but we only saw him 3 times in the whole evening once to say sorry when we had been seated 30 mins without being acknowledged having already waited 20 minutes standing after our booked time waiter then went off on break only when we finished eating were we offered drinks! Appalling service and appalling food ! Not the restaurant as it used to be never again shame we have been going there 30 years!

Food was great, very large portions meant to share. As a couple we could only eat 1/2 the enormous salad and 1/2 the entree of angel hair pasta and bolognese. So we’ll enjoy a second Carmine meal at home tonight! Check out the Murder Mystery dinner show option, looks fun (we didn’t know about it beforehand so didn’t get to experience it).
