   This place is amazing in every aspect. The service is awesome and they were answering any questions I had with enthusiasm and obvious knowledge of the products. The food is, well, ridiculous. Not gonna put any more information on that. Get in there and see for yourself. They put us in a nice room for my wife's birthday and left her a card at our table signed by the entire staff. Cocktails are on point. Definitely an awesome establishment right in the middle of downtown

   my wife's 70th birthday and she loved it, just the right amount of food, wait staff, Cassia was excellent and very pleasant, she needs a raise. presentation was excellent and worth the special moment

   The host sat us in a room upstairs that had large table already seated with loud children. This group had just completed ordering so they were obviously going to be there a while. The children were not well behaved - yelling, throwing toys, and running around. We felt badly for the wait staff as their work was impacted. The adults did little to address the behavior and of course the staff could not ask them show some respect for the other dinners. My complaint is the group with loud from the start of their seating and no other diners should have been seated in the room. This would of impacted 4 tables of 2-4 each which is hard to make up for on a busy night, but I would have been willing to wait for a quiet table

   Great evening at Cafe Navarre on a Sunday for 3 of us. The gnocchi was incredible and the service was impeccable. We will be back next time we visit South Bend!

   Everything was ok except the mashed potatoes were very salty. They exchange them for new plate of mashed potatoes just a bit less salty then the other plate.

    My husband and I dined here for Valentine’s Day. Heather was a phenomenal server from start to finish and the general manager Michael made sure we were spoiled as well. We had the oysters, filet, and NY strip for dinner and all were excellent. Hard to beat the prices for the top quality experience you’ll get here. Then we got two desserts (angel food cake and a pink Apple dish) on the house, which was not out of character at all for Michael’s and Navarre’s reputation. We hadn’t previously dined with Heather before, but I will happily request her every time here on out. Navarre catered our wedding in 2019 and it’s always fun and nice going back. Thanks for a wonderful date night!
