The food was exceptional. Very reasonably priced if you go for the prix fix lunch. Highly recommend the bruschetta to start followed by the sea bream. 2 courses for £25. I had the most divine green cabbage as a side. Who would have thought cabbage could taste so delicious?! Loved it !

I booked through Open Table. When we arrived we were told they had no record of it, that they don’t partner with OT anymore. A table was found and we ordered. Our server was quite off-putting. She kept staring at us from where she was standing- no engagement, just openly staring- constantly. It was bordering on rude/intimidating. The food was just average. The risotto was edible but looked like a sloppy mess. The seabream was fine and the rigatoni dish was tasty. Overall, the food/seevice meant a disappointing experience- contrary to our expectation.

Very good set menu lunch. Well balanced and great mix of flavours and texture. Beautifully cooked piece of pollack - extra side of cavalo nero added to the meal. Good wine list and helpful advice from staff. Apple strudel was delightful. However, noise level was approaching unbearable by then end of lunch - it was Christmas, so very crowded, but detracted from what could have been a lovely time to meet friends. I shall definitely go again, and would recommend others to try, but if always that noisy then it will be off the list.

We have been to Murano. Couldn’t fault it. We booked the Cafe on this trip to London as a precursor to the theatre. Late lunch giving us time to digest our meal and enjoy Private Lives. We arrived at Cafe Murano and my partner met an outwardly agitated woman who we took to be the manager. She was dressed differently to the rest of the staff and she began searching for our booking. She stated that she did not have a booking in our name. I then felt the need to retrieve our reservation on my mobile telephone but suddenly she found our booking. The manager as I will call her then pointed us in the direction of a table at the door ‘ that’s you there’ and stomped off. No niceties and no effort made to settle us into our table. We opted for a starter and main course from the fixed price menu and our waitress asked if we had chosen some wine. We said that we don’t drink alcohol during the day ‘not even a beer?’ was her reply with associated facial expression. The food was fine. Nothing to get excited about. Our waitress asked in several occasions if we had any feedback for the chef. We are not sure what was going on but the manager was fairly animated with other staff and at one point stomped out of the cafe presumably with another staff member. Think we’ll eat elsewhere in future.

We enjoyed a nice dinner, I had Hake with mushrooms which was very good and my husband had the chicken Milanese which he enjoyed. The wine was very good and the service was excellent. We would definitely eat here again when visiting London

Great food and service. Everything was to a high standard. The best quality Italian meal I’ve had for a long time.

I’m a regular here and cannot fault the quality of the food. However, the experience was ruined by the fact they had not picked up our booking on open table. According to the member of staff who greeted us, ‘we don’t check bookings from there these days’. All the tables in the main restaurant area were taken and we were seated in the unused section near the front door well away from other customers. Other than that, service at the table and the food were excellent as always.

Took a while to get served, but very good waitress who apologised for the delay. Had the cocktail and olives and focaccia to start but had only just got these when our main turned up, would have liked a bit of time in between. Desert was delicious. Overall experience was good!
