Wonderful dining on a Friday night. Jazz combo. Wonderful food—bread, salads, salmon and bass. Delightful service. Subdued lighting.

Unpleasant. Great food. Then some freak put down the check. I was barely finished! I wanted to order dessert, but wow. You’re showing me the door? Food good. Don’t go as a solo diner. They’re eager to turn the table.

We were sitting in the east side of the restaurant next to the kitchen and the quality of air was really poor. it was too smelly. I returned home smelling like French fries !. Need to fix extractors !

Dinner was very good (highly recommend the crab croquettes and sweet potatoes) and paced well. We especially liked Kylie who was very helpful with digestifs at the bar afterward.

This is by far the best in Mpls. The sea bass is dreamy and the apple salad should not be missed. Always a hit?!

This restaurant has been around for more than 20 years and could easily be overlooked with all the new ones in North Loop. However, I would highly recommend this classic gem overlooking Loring Park offering major ambiance, with an excellent selection of food and drinks. It's great for a date night, special celebration, or just because.

Wonderful Friday night of Restaurant Week! The 3 of us were seated at a 4 top close to Benny and his band. The food was absolutely amazing with the 3-course price fixed menu. We each had the crab, steak tartar and salad for starters. 2 of us had the pork chop and 1 of us had the salmon. Each was enjoyed by all!!! Wonderful flavors! For dessert 2 had the chocolate carrot cake and 1 had the ice cream. A lovely way to end the meal. We each had a glass of wine that was nice, but pricey. We always enjoy listening to Benny and his group. They just look like they are having fun and play wonderful music everyone knows! FYI.....When I called earlier in the week to make reservations they said they were full. Looked on open table and was able to make a reservation! When we got to Cafe Lurcat there were plenty of tables available at 7:30...they were NOT full!
