Family Wiesenegg welcomes you to the wine taverns and restaurant Buergerspital zum Hl. Geist. This restaurant was founded in 1873 and it's long history is the reason for us to value traditions and integrate them with modern times. You will find a wide selection of exceptional wines from Buergerspital's own vineyards and classics of the Franconian cuisine. Just as you would expect from a traditional German wine tavern! Furthermore we are inviting you to try our light and modern cuisine, that will bring you to the Mediterranean lands as well as the other countries and continents of this world.

    Das Bürgerspital ist leider nicht so der Hit. Das Essen ist im Vergleich zu anderen guten Restaurants in Würzburg zu teuer. Die Viertel-Ente kostet 27,50€. Andere bieten die in besserer Qualität für 23,50€ an. Der Sitzplatz war so düster, dass die Schwiegermutter eine Taschenlampe zum Lesen der Karte benötigt hatte. Der Service war gut und zuvorkommend. Fazit: Zur Not kann man es mal machen. Ein Stammlokal wird es aber nicht.

    Die 1/2 Ente hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt, nur fettig und nach Fritteuse. Das Zitronenhähnchen war absolute Spitze. Die restlichen 4 Essen waren ok. Essen kam in ziemlich großen Abständen auf den Tisch. Schade dass man schon wieder nach 2 Stunden gehen muss

    Super zuvorkommender Service, aufmerksame Bedienung, sehr leckeres Essen. Wir waren zu viert, mussten kaum warten und haben alle zusammen gegessen. Wir kommen jederzeit wieder gern.

    Die beste Ente die ich in meinem Leben gegessen habe, selbst gemachte Knödel und Blaukraut wie bei Mutter, Sauce ein Träumchen...Preis unschlagbar fair
