    I used to love going to Buddakan. Last night was a terrible experience. We came in after waiting for our table for 30min the place was freezing!! We asked the waitress about that and she said it he heat is broken and left. We set the whole dinner with our coats on and didn’t enjoy our meal. When we spoke with the manager at the end he said he feels that it is cold so he can go and fix it. We told him that the waitress said it was broken and his reply was I fixed it now. Someone didn’t tell the truth. I am not going to recommend the restaurant again.

    Beautiful place, however when ordering we were advised by our waitress to order everything at once and told the food would come to the table separately and slowly. This did not happen all the food was sent to our table at once, the table was over crowded and the food went cold, such a shame!

    LOVE! One of the best meals I have had in NYC ever. They took great attention to detail in the service and the food. I have a nut allergy and I was happy to hear that they had a system in place to eliminate cross contamination and I felt safe eating. Plus everything we ate was delicious. The cauliflower appetizer, king pao chicken and the short rib were my favorites. But everything we ate was delicious

    This was one of the best birthday celebrations at this restaurant. The inside is stunning, and the service is great. My server was so sweet and informative— he was very knowledgeable with dietary restrictions. He made our experience the best. The food was yummy, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

    Buddakan is probably my favorite restaurant in NYC. I bring colleagues there after offsites, family when they’re visiting, and date nights with my husband. I’ve never ordered anything from Buddakan that I didn’t like, and that includes when I “take a risk” by trying something with ingredients I don’t typically prefer. Highly recommend!
