Opened in the fall of 2014, Brickhouse is located in the historic village of Nyack. Since then, Chef Paul Brown has been serving both authentic BBQ and wood fired brick oven pizza, while making daring new ventures into the uncharted territories of food. Brickhouse holds 24 craft beers on draft that rotate every week. With a warm and comforting ambiance, you can come with the family for the kids play area or with some friends for the lively bar and pool table. Walked in and got seated. Waited 15 minutes for sever to come to order drinks . She then told us they were out of cheese so there was no pizza , no avocados , etc. So we left. It was only 5:30 pm . How could you be out of food. Also bathrooms were filthy.

I don't know what's going on with this place, but I'd never go back there. 1) We sat at the bar before our friends arrived to have a drink and although they weren't busy we had to flag down the bartender. He complained that his "wine supplier" didn't make the recent delivery and they were out of Chardonnay. 2) Getting him to process our check took 2 waves! 3) They asked us if we wanted to eat inside or outside. When we said outside they walked us to a row of tables that were basically in a parking lot. They asked a homeless guy if he would move down 2 tables so we can have our meal. 4) We placed our orders (after it took them 20 minutes!!) and they came back to tell us they were out of 2 of the 4 things we ordered. I suspect they are running out of money and are going out of business soon. This use to be our GO TO place. But, I can't imagine that I will EVER GO BACK! OH - and we cancelled our meals, they forgot to cancel our drink order...so the drinks came out while we were getting up to leave. They said they were on the house...we stayed with our new homeless friend and left them a nice tip. Thanks for the memories guys..

Brickhouse A fun, energetic, lively pub in a NYC loft-like space, serving delicious pizzas and typical bar food. (The bacon and onion pizza and fig pizzas are yummy. The other food is mostly deep fried, while a few salads and a fairly decent grilled miso salmon dish is also available). The burger preparations are varied and are also good. The beer selection is very good but served in whichever glasses they have handy. The prices are reasonable. The service is harried and overwhelmed, but pleasant. The servers get an A for effort, but apparently they serve too many patrons to allow the service to be either attentive or efficient. We were not in any rush, so the slow (yet pleasant) service and long wait for food permitted us to enjoy the lively ambiance. We really enjoyed our fun evening at Brickhouse!

No a/c when it was 90+ degrees . "Out of" 3 of the drinks I tried to order even Prosecco. Food when it came was ok. Service very slow even when the place was empty. Would not recommend.

Excellent! Everyone we encountered was so genuine and sweet. The food and drinks were perfect! It was our first but not our last visit. Such a cool place.

Great food and atmosphere. Service was very good - this was my first time at the Brickhouse. The AC stopped working an hour before we arrived (when it was 98 degrees outside)... but even with the intense heat - it was still a fun experience, and I'd definitely go back.
