   We were there for our daughter in law’s birthday and we’re pretty excited to go. There were 6 of us there for lunch and only notified us 90 minutes prior to our reservation they left message that lunch was no longer being served after 2pm and prior to 4pm even though it was not mentioned on the website at the time I made the reservation. I would have thought that I would have been notified 24 hours prior to when they emailed me to see if I was still coming. Snack menu was incredibly limited. Then when I sat down I thought the lid from the table was going to come off. I mentioned this to our server and she didn’t seem to be too concerned. Didn’t see her too much, water/drink glasses were not refilled during our “lunch”. Drink service was very slow, dishes from the snack menu were not cleared even when the, (again) limited dessert menu was being served. They only had one very old tasting Baked Alaska, and not sure how fresh was the charcuterie board because that wasn’t great either. Like I say, very disappointed because my wife and her friends meet there quite often.

   The food and beverages were excellent. The service was not good. Waitress was inattentive. Table wasn’t cleaned We we’re not offered drinks with our meal and had to ask for them after waiting a significant period of for anytime to return to our table The food was amazing and worth the cost however the poor service takes away from the value

   THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH IN CALGARY!!!!! Honestly!!! The restaurant Market used to hold this title but it closed down before Covid. AND...With the reintroduction of the new and improved fried chicken sandwich at Bow Valley...you won't be disappointed! The mayo sauce is a secret concoction of delightfulness...and the coleslaw and pickles are to die for! Honestly that coleslaw inside is soooo much better than the cabbage they used to put in there. KUDOS TO THE CHEFS for improving this dish to PERFECTION!!!!

   Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is an excellent choice whether it's for lunch or dinner. The food is prepared properly and carefully .... so TASTY. The staff works hard to make your visit relaxing and enjoyable. Our server, Aiden, was courteous, attentive and very accommodating. We appreciated this very much.

    Unfortunately our service was slow, delayed, servers were confused, 2 drink orders were incorrect. Dessert orders were also delayed and incorrect. We had to ask for water 3 times and cutlery was missing for our main course (which was steak). I would say the service felt scattered and inattentive. Food quality and portion sizes were excellent. The room was tastefully decorated for Christmas. The ladies washroom in my opinion needs updating and missing toilet seats replaced.
