    We love frequenting this restaurant for fresh seafood. It was a very busy evening on this most recent visit, so the noise level we exceptionally high. With this being a small venue, the noise level can sometimes be very extreme. The bar drinks are always wonderful, and the dinner plates are fresh and creative. My Wife always loves the Cedar Plank Salmon. I especially love the Waterfront Sampler, with fried softshell crab, redfish, and shrimp. However, there are a few small things that could make the Waterfront Sampler better. The redfish always comes out too dry-tasting. The softshell crab would be much better with a tempura batter. The current batter is just too coarse and grainy. The mashed potatoes need to have a milk base, instead of water base. They were just too plain. However, I do love the string beans here. They are always fresh and delicious. Also, the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were too small, and too bland. However, they do have a brief but nice wine list, which I truly appreciate.

    ALWAYS fantastic service and fabulous food! BLVD is the most consistent restaurant when it comes to food and service. There isn't a bad choice on their entire menu. We actually had brunch there on Saturday and then went back for dinner that same night! Out of all of our choices when we come to Galveston, we always end up at BLVD! We've eaten here for over 5 years and have never had a bad meal or bad service. I highly, highly recommend! 🤩

    Our server Kevin was exceptional. He made us feel the perfect warm, island welcome. Even though it was quite chilly out. 10/10

    We love the food, always! But, the noise gets ramped up quickly because there is no sound dampening in the space so people quickly raise their voices to overcome the noise. Please consider assessing the space to reduce overall noise.
