    I love the ambience of the Blue Boar Inn. We have now been there twice. When I went there the first time, I knew I needed to bring my friend. The second time we went was just as lovely. Highly recommend if you love that Bed N Breakfast Inn feel.

    One of the hidden Gems of Midway. The chef changes up the menu, adding seasonal delights. The breakfast at the Blue Boar is phenomenal!

    Tucked away back and beautiful Midway, Utah at the base of the mountains. It’s a quaint European hotel, and in with a restaurant that’s very European countryside inspired with forest heads actually melted on the walls and beautiful European decor down the hallways. It feels rustic like you’ve been transported hundreds of years in Europe. The food was incredible absolutely amazing. All the pastries were baked. The meat was super high-quality. We love the smoky bacon that was not salty. The corned beef was made fresh in-house, as well as the hollandaise, which was excellent with the poached eggs.

    We had a lovely meal at Blue Boar Inn. We started with fondue with homemade bread pieces, shishito peppers, andouille sausage, and brocolini. We had the Parmesan crusted halibut and the pork schnitzel. We ended with the flourless chocolate torte with ice cream and caramel sauce. Absolutely delicious. The staff was helpful and gracious.

    Everything was fantastic! Beautiful music, perfect level. Great service. Food was excellent. Great wine/drink selection. Always beautiful environment and evening. We came later and didn’t feel rushed at all. I hope they consider Black Forest cake as a dessert option!

    The food was amazing but everything else was very unfortunate. I made the reservation over a week ago not knowing it was going to be my engagement dinner. When my now fiancé called to let them know we were going to be celebrating, they didn't seem to care at all. We got there 30 minutes early expecting to get a drink at the bar while we waited for our table. We got brought to a back room which I guess was the bar just to be told it might be a while to get service since they are short-staffed. So, if that was the case, why even bring us back there? Then we got to our table and then were asked if we wanted an appetizer. The server seemed disappointed we didn't want to order, and it was only because we didn't love the menu options. We were told food was going to take 30 ish minutes like it was a problem. I would hope that good food wouldn't be cooked in seconds. We ended up getting our food at the same time as our wine! Weird... Anyway, when it came to the dessert, we were offered the menu and I was a bit disappointed when we weren't offered it on the house. I don't expect free things but it would have been special if they at least covered the $10 dessert. We left feeling unacknowledged on one of the most important nights of our life.
