   Made reservations for Bar seating for 2. Arrived on time but nothing available in the bar. We had the choice of waiting for who knows how long or be seated in the dining room which turned out to be a small table in the path of people coming and going. Not happy with the timing of having to wait 15-20 min or longer even though you have a reservation. This is not the first time this has happened.

   I was there with family to celebrate my son’s birthday. The food was delicious! The cheesy garlic bread is awesome usually, but this time seemed to exceed the norm! The campfire feast is a great deal and we were allowed to use my digital rewards to get $10 off each. I got the grilled shrimp and it was VERY good! Comes with a butter/garlic dip, I think. The shrimp were also seasoned well. My son got a free desert for his birthday. The waiter was amazing!! Very attentive to us all and got our orders right. Thank you to Black Angus for making my son’s birthday dinner wonderful!

   Black Angus in Whittier is our go-to restaurant for special occasions. In this case, it was an anniversary and a birthday. The food is consistently delicious. There is not a long wait if you make reservations ahead of time, which we always do. Our server, Nina R, was particularly excellent.

   Waiter was great. He would hype up our meals . Get us extra excited . Food was delicious. 2 of our New York steaks were under cook to our liking . But that’s wasn’t a big deal . The value whole dinner experience drinks made up for any little hiccup like such . Definitely my favorite place to eat a good steak .

   I really enjoyed my food. I ordered the bowl with chicken and it was delicious! Service was great. The hostess greeted my party with a smile and our server was also excellent. The food was fresh and delicious! Thank you!

   Tried a different location and had a good experience. Somewhat smaller BA than the one we usually went to but the food and service was great. Had the special steak, shrimp and lobster special and the lobster and shrimp were tasty and well prepared. Steak was just OK. As usual, the salad was crispy and served on a cold plate. The au gratin potatoes were as good as ever.

    We have NEVER had a bad experience at Black Angus Whittier… On this occasion, our server Jamie was just outstanding! We appreciated her efficiency, superior service, and her humor. Jamie should train ALL servers in the processes she does so well! As always, the food & beverage were prepared perfectly & were delicious.
