   Overall we had an outstanding experience at Bistecca. We started with drinks which were served promptly and they were excellent. We had the crab cakes, excellent. Lightly fried and not overdone. Large bits of crab and the sauce was perfect. We used the bread to eat it all. We had wine, house red and the pinot noir, both really good. My wife had the fillet, med rare, cooked to perfection. I had the Veal Osso Buco. It was fantastic. It was cooked just right and very tender. I saw they had homemade pappardelle, couldn't pass that up, so I subbed it in for the potatoes, I highly recommend the substitution. Finished our meal with the chocolate soufflé, do not pass this up, make sure you save room. The food and drink were great and the service was even better. Our waitress was the best. Very friendly, helpful, and not pushy at all. We had a 6:30 reservation and left little after 9:00. She gave us time to enjoy each course before bringing out the next. The ambiance was perfect. Almost every table was occupied but the restaurant was relatively quiet and we didn't really notice the other tables around us. If you are looking for a nice evening out, I highly recommend Bistecca.

   Our waiter Alex was a delight! She had a wonderful wit and took care to ensure our food was prepared to perfection. Thank you Alex for a wonderful evening at Bistecca.

   First off - we got there early. The noise level was great - not so much when we left. Appetizers - the usual Steak Salerno. Cream of asparagus soup. Spinach salad. Didn’t miss a beat. Entrees - Veal and salmonn- both very good. Dessert - pecan twill with chocolate - once again - excellent. The bar? Average. One does not score points by using canned (or worse) sour. iced. Very lame. The bill - with too- $189. A real steal. The servers were very attentive. Just go early - noise is unbearable after about 700 pm. The chefs here do a great job.

   It was Valentine’s weekend and our first visit. The server was Kiley and she was as sweet as could be, called us by our names the entire time, was very attentive without being at the table too much. The Chef came by and visited with us and said hello to everyone at the other tables as well and let me tell you about the food. It’s beyond amazing! We had the Steak Salerno and Tuna appetizer, snapper and grouper special and cream brûlée. One of the best meals we’ve ever had! We will be back and often!

    This is a great local restaurant. There is some disconnect with Open Table reservations and Bistecca. I booked our reservation for 2/13 on 1/27 for 2ppl at 6:45pm. On 2/13 at or around 4:00 I received a notice from the restaurant saying that we will not be seated until 7:15pm. There was no real reason offered and after some back and forth via the Open Table app, I explained my surprise that a reservation booked 2+ weeks in advance is bumped 2+hours before the scheduled time. I even used the Jerry Seinfeld line: “Isn’t the purpose of the reservation to “reserve” a table?” Also, the day before I confirmed that we’re going to be there. Please explain why. I said we’ll find another restaurant. Then they came back saying they would honor our original reservation. Which was fine, but why put a loyal customer through the stress of rescheduling a long planned dinner at the last minute? This is not the first time. This happened before but we were not advised about the delay, until we arrived slightly before our reservation. That time it was a 15-20min delay. Again, we love this restaurant, and once you’re seated, it’s always a great experience. But time is precious and when you’re juggling work schedules and life, shouldn’t going to dinner, be a relaxing and enjoyable experience?
