   The service was VERY slow. However, our chef more than made up for it. The experience was so fun for all ages. And the food is always good!

   My experience at this Benihana was super terrible. I made a reservation for my sister's birthday and I think it was useless since my reservation was at 8:30 pm and I had to wait 1 hour for them to give us our table and the girls who work here laugh at you when they look at you upset about the situation.

   Checked in at 7:30 for 8pm reservation. Wasn’t seated until 8:45. Chef started cooking at 9:30. Hurried to pay the bill. Out the door at about 11pm.. Benihana isn’t what it once was.

   Everything was great until the Female Manager asked my family to leave so they could sit other people at our table. I had just gotten up to use the restroom and we were served our Ice Cream. Now the Table beside us was full and had finished way before us and were sitting talking for some time. Their Table was cleared and cleaned. When I returned to my table after using the restroom my family was gone. I searched for them and found them outside waiting for me. They told me what had happened. I was furious. I wasn’t even done with my Ice Cream and the other table was never approached. I understand they needed the table but we waited 45 minutes past our reservation time to be seated and another 20 for the Chef and didn’t complain. Our Chef and Waiter were excellent but the Manager killed it. When we first arrived we heard the Manager tell her staff from a distance for customers to hear, “If you can stand, you can fold napkins”. Granted there were 6 staff members at the front desk standing around talking but we think she needs training herself. We as customers don’t need to hear staff being disciplined.

   The food is fresh and delicious. The service is good and it’s a festive atmosphere. It is pretty expensive though.

   The chef actually threw a knife at my chest while doing a trick. It slipped out of his hands and onto plate, landing right before my chest. The server had to fix our split check three times. Our waters were never refilled.

   Extremely crowded, and we didn’t get seated until 30-40 min after our resy, but the hosts did their best to accommodate everyone. Even when others were extremely demanding and rude, the hosts stayed calmed and reassuring. We had Chef Ray who was very talented, personable, funny, etc. He made the wait worth it.

   Our waiter Leo was lovely and the hostess was very nice as was our table chef Alex. But they were terribly understaffed and the delays were about an hour and they actually forgot about us for about thirty minutes when we were trying to pay the bill. We thought the servers were awesome and kind and did the best they could but they need more staff to accommodate the weekend rush. It’s not fair to anyone to set them up to fail.
