   Our cook was decent. Overcooked my steak (nearly burnt) but that’s not a big deal to me. However our waiter got our drink order brought us our drinks then we didn’t see them again til they brought us our check no refills nothing.

   We have been to benihana many times. This was our first in salt lake. I loved that the habachi tables were upstairs! Our server was sweet but didn’t check in often. The price of things paired with our service didn’t match. Our habachi server messed up tables so we didn’t get the full show. Still great food. I understand things happen

   Staff was not great and had some internal conflict. We told them about my friend’s birthday multiple times and they did nothing for it. As we walked out we heard multiple other groups celebrating with dessert and the staff sang to them. Food was okay but not worth the price. My friend also tried to sign up for the loyalty program to get $30 off and their website kept crashing so she never got it.

   As usual, because we come every year for my husband's birthday, the food was wonderful and the dinner show chef was great! The service this time was SLOW. I don't know if someone called in sick, or quit, but we were not the only table having issues. Two of the chefs had to keep going back to the kitchen to get what should have been on their carts. None of our drinks were refilled in a timely manner. At the end of the night the waiter wrote "tips in cash greatly appreciated". I rarely carry cash for that purpose and if the restaurant needs us to do that, then they need make it clear beforehand. That being said, BH, is great for birthdays and we will be back next year.
