   very disappointing experience. Our booking was at 7pm, but we were not seated till 8pm,and were not served foods until 9pm. We left the restaurant at 9:20pm. I guess the schedules tells all.

   Our chef Quinn was excellent and the entire meal was delicious. We had a 6:15 reservation and were seated at 6:45. They seem to be running behind regularly so perhaps and adjustment needs to be made to their reservation system.

   Too hot!!! It was literally above 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the upper level of the restaurant. Our entire party was sweating just sitting there. We were excited for the meal to end so we could go outside into the December chill outside.

   We had reservations and still had to wait for over an hour. When we were seated, the upstairs was so full of people that you could not even get through aisles. Our eyes were burning from the exhaust and gas grill smell upstairs. Our drinks we ordered were all watered down like they had been sitting for a bit and the wrong order. We were disappointed in the salad dressing. It was very bitter. The prices were so high considering the amount of food that was served. Benihana has went to a 5 course meal style at serving guests and the food is getting served one slice of zucchini or onion at a time. We have not been here for a long time and were very disappointed at the service and food. The tenderloin steak was pretty good, better than the filet, but very high priced. Over all, we will not be back here anytime soon if at all.

   From the time we walked in, it did not fit the quality that should have been for a high end restaurant. We had the reservation at 7:00 pm and did not get sat down until 7:30 ish. Btw we were about 15-20 mins early too. Then from there we did not get drinks for 20 mins, and then an hour for the chef to end up showing up. Lorraine tried to get salads and appetizers but with four kids at dinner time they wanted their food. The food was good and the chef was okay. However, my work recommended your establishment, and I was there celebrating my 30 years at my employment. Lorraine asked what we celebrating for and acknowledged it. But it was never mentioned again. By the end of our time I was ready to walk out and forget the whole thing. The chef grill from the table we sat at I observed the cleaners not even sanitizing anything. The cloth/rag was dirty!! There was tape like for windows to be held. The carpets, floor, etc needs to be updated! Well, let’s say I will never go to your establishment again and I will be telling everyone!!!!!!

   Went for dinner on Xmas. Reservations at 8:15 but did not get sat until closer to 9. Despite all of this the staff was great and did not act like they were defeated by the Xmas rush. Lorraine & Luis provided top tier service! I appreciated that in tenfold.

    Where to start with benihanas? As your approach you’ll be greeted by an absolutely retched exterior. I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere downtown with a much bird crap at the front door and on the welcome mat. Once you enter, expect an additional 45min from your time of reservation until you’re sat. Once at the table, loon around your table for all of the food from the last party littering the floor, check your water for floaty bits from whatever was in them last, and be sure to expect at least another 20min until the server takes your order. At this point you can decide, do you get up and leave? Wait it out and find out if the food is decent? Will you get sick? Well we’d rather not find out, so out the door we went. Lesson learned, don’t waste your time at this place.
