   Our server did not properly proportion the food causing us to have to order more. The order was not correct and although frustrating I hated having to experience the cooks frustration while celebrating my dad’s birthday. The server was nice and tried to resolve the issue. We had allergies at our table and I don’t think the cook was prepared. Also the extras we ordered to our meal we did not get. I did not complain because it was a special event yet with the cost it would be nice to ensure the order was taken. correctly and that the cooks brings the right amount of food out. We didn’t get our steamed rice with the meal until towards the end after reminding them. Just several small things you wouldn’t expect from such a restaurant. Overall, it was beautiful there and I like the privacy we get in the rooms.

   The server Aaliyah was great, the restroom was dirty and even though I booked a reservation I had to wait 45 minutes to be seated because the manager Steve said they were short staffed. Very unacceptable

   The issue was the wait time for our table which was 45 minutes passed our reservation time. No manager stopped by to thank us for waiting or offered a discount for the delay. The server and chef both did a great job but feel we should have received something for the delay. Saw several parties leave because of the delay and no calls to tell customers their would be a delay. Value the customers time.

   There was absolutely nothing special about this place, but I am glad that I got to finally eat here and mark it off my places to try list.

   Horrible business model!! I called because we were running a little behind and I was told that the here is a 15-minute grace period otherwise we lose our reservation. We rushed to get there and arrived on time for our 6:45 reservation only to be told they’re running about 30 minutes behind. I asked the hostess why didn’t she just say they were running behind so we didn’t drive like crazy people to get there on time and she told me that the central answering service is not always “updated” on current wait times!! Such a racket! Finally got seated 45 minutes LATER only to be told that it would be another 30 minutes before the chef would arrive at our table! This is the third time we experienced this at Benihana! From Florida to Texas, the same thing has happened to us multiple times. We’re done with this chain and never will go back again. They’ve obviously cornered a market where they can provide terrible customer service and seemingly get away with it. Shame on them.

   Chef was really nice. Food was not as great as it used to be. Service was incredibly slow. Restaurant was really old and dirty . Was way too expensive !
