   We were seated 15 minutes after our reservation, not terrible but not great. Our drink and appetizer orders were taken promptly. We received our drinks relatively quickly. I had to inquire twice about when the appetizer we ordered would come out and when our chef would arrive; two tables seated 15 and 20 minutes after us with larger groups had their chef arrive and we were still waiting. It was 45 minutes before our chef arrived. One of us ordered sake, the menu only listed a 375ml option for it; the server didn't ask any clarifying questions and instead of the 375ml bottle was brought a small glass of sake, maybe 150ml in size. Also, it was a different sake than ordered. This was pointed out, our server was confused but eventually came back with the correct bottle of sake. We were charged for both sake even though one was a mistake. Then a beer was ordered, the one ordered was unavailable so an alternative was selected, the server did not ask which size and just assumed the larger bottle. Then when it was brought out it was just the bottle and no glass to pour it in to as us normal. While eating the fried rice and the chef was now preparing our entrees the appetizer we ordered was finally delivered. This was 90 minutes after we had ordered it. The food was still great, the chef was very friendly. The quality of the service has severely gone down. The appetizer we ordered was purchased with a gift card for a free appetizer due to a similarly bad experience during our last visit where it took us over an hour after ordering for our chef to arrive.

   For Valentine's Day it was grossly overbooked. We had to wait 50 minutes past our reservation. I never saw it with so many people in lines. There should be caps on the number of reservations taken.

   This was quite possibly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Reservation was at 5:15p, we arrive at 5:25p and the entry was a ZOO, and they said we wouldn’t be able to sit for 45m. We went to a nearby park with our 3 kids (9, 8 and 4) and wait for a call. They didn’t call. I call and they say we’re next and to hurry back. We sit at 6:15p. By 7:15pm we still did not have drinks and the chef was still not at our table. The manager and waiter were dismissive. The couple next to us had a reservation at 5pm. They continued to sit large parties and the bar prioritized the people waiting for a table over sat tables. We walked out at 7:30pm unfed and took the kids to a nearby McDonald’s. If we had stayed, the meal would have been $250+. The restaurant was also disgusting, trash all over the floor, dirty tables. Don’t eat here. Go to Kobe or Kimono. I’ll never visit a Benihana again.

   We had 5:15 reservations and checked in at 5:00. We weren’t seated until 5:50. They were slammed but their food was good.
