   We love Benihana and your food usually taste so amazing! Unfortunately this time, our chef wasn’t that lively and he doesn’t look like in the mood. He barely talked to us, barely did any tricks which was sad because it’s our friend’s first time and we were so excited to show him what Benihana offers. Our chicken was overcooked and our rice portion was surprisingly less than the other tables maybe because some ordered extra rice and he didn’t portioned it well.

   We were a party of 8 teachers. We had reservations at 7:00. We were seated at 7:43 (that was rough). Once seated we had a great time! Service was good. Our chef was fun & entertaining. Food was great. We had a great time!!

   This place has really diminished quality since we were last there a couple years ago. 1st the server disappeared for 30 minutes after we asked for cup of water for my 2 year old with a straw and I listened to her for the next 20 minutes before I went to find it myself while no one came to the table to ask if we needed anything. No drinks no orders and we were there on time. The hibachi cook came out talking with the hibachi cook behind him complaining about management and did a really poor job imo with essentially no performance for the kids or my mom for her birthday. For example he made the rice heart and when I told the kids to look expecting he was going to make it beat he instead took his spatula and ran it through the whole thing destroying the heart. Didn’t offer to throw anything into anyone’s mouth. No train. No tricks with the eggs. The hibachi cook behind him seemed like he wanted to stay out of it and even though our cook smiled through the whole thing he kept making unprofessional comments to his colleague. He rushed through the whole thing and the rice, chateubriand, and filet mignon didn’t come out that good. At the end AFTER everyone was served he left, then came back to clean up, and THEN haphazardly did volcano with the onions for a minute as he cleaned up. Frankly not what we drove 50 miles through traffic for on Friday night. Twice the price as a fancy restaurant down the street and the place down the street takes better care of their customers. Made the best of it while we were there for the kids but we were all pretty disappointed in the experience.

    Best time ever!!! Had our Thanksgiving dinner here. No problem getting our reservation, valet parking crew very Professional . Our group was ready and we were seated asap.
