Located in the Historic District of downtown Canton, Bender's Restaurant offers its customers an elegant, relaxing atmosphere where one can enjoy fine food and wine. Bender's has been satisfying customers with culinary classics, drink and hospitality since 1902. Today we continue our long tradition by offering only the highest quality seafood fresh from Foley Fish in Boston, MA.                                                                                                   Had never been to Benders before but had heard great things, went for a santa breakfast and they said there would be a special kids holiday menu there was not it was just the standard kids menu listed on their website. Food was fine, but very small quantities, no sides, and a hefty price tag. Nice atmosphere and server, but will not be back.

                                                                                                  Our server, David, did a fabulous job with our table throughout the evening. Great personality, we didn't feel rushed, and clear explanations. Cocktails, wine and drinks were excellent. Appetizers included oysters, crab legs and scallops. All were absolutely delicious. Entrees included lobster, perch, pasta/shrimp dish and sea bass. All were perfect ... with the exception that the sea bass was less than spectacular. We also had bread pudding and brandy alexanders for desert ... that were scrumptious.

                                                                                                  We had a fabulous experience at Benders. We usually have Pat as a waitress and we love her but she wasn’t working so we had Ava. She was fantastic!! Our food was incredible. We had the filet, strip, scallops, twin lobster tails, bib salad, chop salad, fall martini and sangria. And of course…. The mini sundae’s for dessert. I can’t recommend Benders enough!! Thanks Ava for a fabulous experience!

Server was Dane and he did a great job. Maple old fashioned and both featured wines we tried were very good. The ala Foley halibut was amazing as was the 8 oz filet.
