Hotel Begardenhof houses an impeccable restaurant in addition to being a warm and cozy hotel. In the mornings, there is a large breakfast buffet that is as varied as the lunch and dinner menus served later in the day. Guests are invited to enjoy meals in the tastefully decorated dining room or out on the expansive terrace. Hotel Begardenhof's menu changes daily, but diners can expect a selection of meals pulling from both international and regional inspiration. At the end of the day, Hotel Begardenhof also hosts an excellent bar for enjoying a nightcap.

Das Gänseessen war sehr mittelmässig; u.a. hatte ich einen Beinknochen ohne jegliches Fleisch auf dem Teller.Der Kellner war geistig abwesend; entsprechend der Service. Also in keinem Punkt empfehlenswert.

Der Preis des Muttertagsbrunch war eindeutig zu hoch für das gebotene Angebot. Nur eine Fleisch- und Fischsorte ist einfach zu wenig. Die Bedienung war leider ein Trauerspiel und bedarf noch einer intensiven Schulung.

Leider war die OpenTable Reservierung im Begardenhof erstmal nicht bekannt. Nur weil man die Reservierung schriftlich dabei hatte, gelang es den Irrtum seitens des Restaurants aufzukären. Daher war auch erstml unklar, ob wir denn überhaupt unser Essen erhalten würden. Nur wg. meiner Frau sind wir geblieben. Ich hätte eine andere Location vorgezogen.
