At Barque our mission is to create new and memorable BBQ experiences for our guests, accomplished through our combination of modern culinary techniques, traditional in-house Southern smoking, and a belief in true hospitality. We’ve been proud to present this original approach to BBQ in the heart of Toronto’s Roncesvalles Village since 2011.

We are a full wage restaurant as designated by the Ontario Living Wage Network. Staff also receive extended health benefits, including dedicated mental health care, and also paid sick/personal days. Any gratuity is appreciated but unnecessary.

The impact of COVID-19 on our food system has caused an unprecedented rise in costs. Our goal has always been - and will continue to be - to offer the most reasonable prices possible, while keeping the business operational.

Good food, pricey. Weekdays kids eat free for great value families. This is why entrees are priced so high! Slow service but pleasant.

The attention and the food was outstanding. It's the first I get this level of service; high quality. Food was delicious. The place is clean and organized. I paid a meal for my family of four $160k and it included dessert. Not bad at all. I would recommend it 100%.

Great food, server was attentive and very helpful . Had the sampler for 2 upedto 3. Teenage daughter and us. Had the brisket, pork and ribs with fries Caesar salad and Brussels. She loved the brisket especially and the Brussels expensive but worth it and server didn’t need a tip ,owner pays them living wage ,also no gst lol Yum

Had a great time out for a nice meal with my father who loves ribs! We shared the meal for two, and got two different types of ribs which were amazing! Cannot recommend this place enough!

The smoked meats are very good here. We had the sharing platter for two which is a little pricey at $120 but tips are included and there was no sales tax. Excellent meats and salads, and we brought quite a bit home.
